This skin condition is surface inflammation of the hair follicle. It can occur anywhere on the body. Most common places are the face, neck, buttock, and thighs. They appear small, round and slightly raised. They are sometimes filled with pus.

WHAT CAUSES IT?
It is caused by different types of organisms. Some of it is bacteria, yeast and fungi.

TREATMENT / PREVENTION
Mild Folliculitis can be treated by a good skincare regime. Extensive Folliculitis can be treated with topical antibiotics. Ensure you shower twice a day with warm water. Avoid the heat and leisure activities which cause sweating such as aerobics. Ensure you wear loose clothing.
